The Wood INFJ

Under a lawn that looks perfectly still, roots are already spreading sideways through the dark, well before anything breaks the surface. Spreading in the dark like that is one of wood's oldest habits, unhurried and mostly invisible. Veilseer splits into veil and seer, someone who sees past the curtain rather than standing in front of it. The Evolving in front of it names a growth that keeps happening long after it looks finished. Wood INFJ shares nothing with wood on either axis. Reaching out becomes pulling in, and building becomes running on inner current, a full reversal rather than a partial one. Both axes point away from wood's, and by a wide margin, one of the strongest gap types the wood row produces.

The project is rolling out to a second office this month, and a colleague drops something offhand in the hallway. Just five words, nothing dramatic, something about feeling behind before the new site even opens. Wood INFJ hears the five words, and also everything underneath them. Two meetings have already been quietly rerouted by evening to make the transition lighter on that one person. No one asked for any of it. Grounding helps more than another read of the room here. Before acting on what got picked up between the lines, one plain question works better than a silent read. It's simply what was actually meant by that.
