1. Who We Are

BaziTypology is run under the name "BaziTypology Team," a solo project that has handled everything from concept and system design to development, writing, and day-to-day upkeep since launching in July 2026. There's no company structure behind it, and we don't claim institutional backing or academic credentials we don't hold. Our actual expertise is narrower than it might sound: we can implement the calendrical math behind Bazi (Four Pillars) as working software, and we can turn a four-letter typology into readable, structured profiles. We stay inside that boundary and don't inflate it. You also won't find user counts or satisfaction figures anywhere on this site, including this page — if we haven't measured it, we don't publish it.

What BaziTypology actually offers is an interpretive framework for understanding your personality: a deterministic calendar calculation (Bazi) layered with a self-reported four-letter type. The calculation itself — your Day Master, your element — comes out the same no matter who runs it. What we write about the eighty combinations of that calculation is different: it's meaning-making, not a validated prediction. Every page on this site keeps that line visible on purpose.

2. Why We Combined These Two Systems

BaziTypology started from one question: "MBTI® got me this far. What's past that?" Two people can share a type code and still feel like strangers to each other — we wanted to read that gap through the elemental energy carried in a birth date. Cross sixteen types with five elements and you get eighty Sigilore archetypes, each with its own title and character design. (See the Sigilore Deck for the full set, and the Japanese-language methodology article for how the system itself is built.)

3. How the 80 Profiles Are Built

None of the eighty profiles is written off the cuff. We start from a shared coordinate system — an independent axis for the elements and an independent axis for each type dimension — and every one of the eighty combinations gets a mechanical classification first (synergy type or gap type). Only after that does the actual writing happen. Before anything goes live, every profile passes an internal consistency pass: no contradictions across the eighty cards, strengths and blind spots always presented together, and no blurring between what the calculation can state flatly and what's interpretation aimed at the reader. If we later find an error or a gap in the explanation, we revise it. None of the eighty types outranks another — we treat them as fully equal.

Underneath that whole process sits one editorial rule: the calculation gets to be definitive; the interpretation doesn't. That a birth date determines a Day Master and an element is a fact of the math. Whether a written description of that element paired with your type actually describes you is a separate question, and we treat it as one.

5. What's Next

6. Our Disclaimer and Approach

BaziTypology is not a scientifically validated personality test, and it doesn't predict your future. We treat the four-letter typology itself the same way most careful writers do: as a widely used piece of self-understanding vocabulary, while being upfront that its psychometric reliability and validity are genuinely debated. Please don't use a profile description, or your result, as the basis for a medical, career, or financial decision. Think of it as one more lens for looking at yourself — not the final word. If something you're carrying feels heavy or ongoing, please talk to someone qualified rather than relying on anything written here. The most honest way to read your card is with some distance: some of it will land, some of it won't, and that's expected.
