The Metal ENFJ

The title's two halves point away from each other, and the whole card sits inside that disagreement. Wayweaver splits into way and weaver: a path forward, and someone who braids many separate threads into that one direction. Precision is the metal half, cutting toward a single standard rather than weaving many strands together. In this framework, metal pulls inward and cuts clean, while ENFJ runs outward and toward feeling. The two axes oppose each other on both counts. That makes metal ENFJ read as a gap type, and a strong one. That tension isn't in either half alone. It's how hard the weaving has to work against the cutting, just to hold a group together at all.

After a junior colleague's mistake costs a client's trust, an apology draft comes across a desk for approval before it's sent. The first version reads as technically sorry, correct words with no real weight behind them. It gets sent back once, not corrected line by line, just returned with one instruction: say what actually happened. The second draft is rougher, and true, and it's the one that goes out. The colleague doesn't learn how close the account came to being reassigned that same afternoon. A container beats another persuasive case. One fixed half hour each week, marked on the calendar, exists for nothing but listening. No fix offered, no direction, no next argument, just hearing something out.
