About BaziTypology — your birth date × 16 types, 80 archetypes
Your birth date gives you one of the Five Elements. Your four-letter type gives you one of sixteen codes. Cross them and you get one of 80 archetypes — a free, interpretive way to look at yourself.
Crossing the Five Elements with four letters
BaziTypology puts two things side by side. The first is a calendar calculation borrowed from Four Pillars (Bazi), the classical East Asian system: enter your birth date, and the year, month, and day pillars are set using solar terms. From those, your Day Master follows — a single Heavenly Stem that maps to one of the Five Elements, Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, or Water. That half is arithmetic. Run the same date anywhere and you get the same answer. (If you know your birth time, a fourth pillar is added; this read doesn't use it.)
The second half is interpretation. We cross your element with the four-letter type you pick yourself — the sixteen-code MBTI® format you've probably seen before — and that gives 80 archetypes. All 80 are equal. There's no ranking and no rare tier. What the system does best is comparison: metal ISTJ holds a promise the way a contract does, while water ISTJ keeps carrying the road it chose, quietly, for years. Same four letters, five different forms.
BaziTypology is an interpretive framework — it combines elements calculated from your birth date with a four-letter personality type. It is not a scientifically validated psychological test, and it does not predict the future. Think of it as one more lens for looking at yourself.
What the free read does
Pick your birth date, pick your four letters, and you get your archetype: its title, what it does well, and where it tends to trip. Both, always — never just the flattering half. You also see how the other four forms of the same four-letter type differ from yours. Not sure of your letters? You can answer 16 short questions instead and let the read fill them in. Your birth date is processed on your own device and is never sent anywhere.

- How the other four forms of the same four-letter type read differently from yours.
What it can't
- Your actual personality, your ability, or the work you should be doing.
- Whether a relationship will go well. Affinity here describes how two patterns mesh, not how things turn out.
- Future events, your health, or your finances. We don't go there.
- Whether this framework has any statistical predictive power. That hasn't been tested, and we don't claim it.
